Compared to many metropolitan areas with large Jewish communities- such as Boston, New York, and New Jersey- the area inside the eruv has affordable housing with substantially lower property taxes. 


Most houses in good condition sell in the ballpark of $350 - $550k, with $450k being about average for 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths.  There are also starter and multi-family homes near shuls, as well as luxurious state-of-the-art gems.


In addition, there is a healthy rental market where an apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath is in the ballpark of $1200-1400 / month.
